Climbing frames bring the family together
summer houses and cabins are a lovely retreat from the world, but there is something great about rambunctious kids at play in an outdoor environment. It’s good to be out in the fresh air sometimes! Even for adults, watching kids enjoy themselves is a treat and it’s even better if a group of kids are playing together.
These days solitary play is becoming more common. Computers may be educational and it’s wonderful when children choose to read for fun, but on the other hand, this kind of activity doesn’t get them playing, sharing, and learning to work with others, and that’s one of the most important skills any child can learn.
Sometimes families with two or more children find that they get along very well and like to play together, but for others it’s a little more difficult, especially when there is an age gap involved. Providing activities that are fun for a range of age groups can be tricky. Often the older kids get bored by games designed to include younger children and the little ones can’t fully participate in those intended for stronger, bigger, or more literate and numerate older children.
climbing frames provide a perfect answer. They can integrate components like swings and short slides (suitable for very little kids, with appropriate adult supervision) and more adventurous monkey bars, forts, and ladders that older children love. Whether they’re barely out of infancy or in their early teens, kids of all ages adore a good climbing frame. It’s very easy for siblings to play together when there is so much to do.
